My Journey

When I was little animals were my world! I spent the better part of my young adult life working with and training horses and dogs!

Working with animals is a natural gateway to energy work and healing, as animals are so sensitive to our energies and respond so strongly to them that it's almost impossible not to become curious about subtle energies and how they work! So, this is where I began learning about another of my life's passions energy work and healing! 

My first stop on this branch of my journey was a book on Taoism. In its pages was a whole new way of thinking and being, and their concept of Alchemy had me hooked.

Alchemy was described as a process for turning lead into gold. It was also the formula for the elixir of life believed to grant immortality to those who possessed it. It was all so fascinating, but it was just the tip of the iceberg! After reading many, many books on the subject I began to understand that Alchemy is much more than a chemistry experiment. It is a magical process for self-transformation. When we separate from our ego (the lead) we are left with our own divinity (the gold)! 

Although my energy work is based on Alchemy and other ancient magical texts my healing journey really took fight when I decided to learn Reiki. Reiki is a powerful yet gentle energy that sends positive and healing energy to people, animals, places, events and so much more! I loved how it tied in my love for animals and energy work! It also gave me the confidence to share my knowledge and abilities with others! So it wasn't a shock that by 2005 I was a Reiki Master and Teacher! 

For me one of the best things about Reiki is how it lends itself to other modalities of healing.  It is the foundation that all my other learning has been built upon and I am happy to still be teaching Reiki classes, laying the foundation for future healers to build on.

During the next 10 years I took more courses than I can remember on Tarot reading, Angels, Crystals, and Energy Healing of all kinds. If it was in southern Ontario and metaphysical in nature, I was there lol! I also continued to expand my animal knowledge with many courses in animal behaviour and Tellington Touch Therapies. 

Eventually I met a local metaphysical shop owner who offered some pretty cool classes unlike anything I had ever taken before. She taught me about pendulums and how to use them in so many ways! From dowsing to healing, emotional release, timeline healing and so much more! During one of my classes, she also mentioned the Emerald Tablet. I downloaded a copy onto my computer to check it out. I was surprised at how familiar it was. It was the base of the Alchemy books I had read long ago! I love when things come full circle! So I took my new skills and shifted my focus back to my beginnings in Alchemy.

My energy healing work began to change and take on a much more Alchemical and magical feel. Instead of just helping clients heal their wounds I now focused on the transformation of the overlying energies so a deeper, more profound healing can be experienced.

My healing work always continues to evolve (as well as my own personal transformation) and I still take great joy in learning from books and from all those who are willing to share their secrets to living a magickal life with me! 

My purpose for gathering so much knowledge is to be able to pass it along to others, so that i can teach, heal and inspire others on their journey of transforming their own lives into gold.
